If you come to Covasna County, to look around, you have to get out of the car

András Kiss, member of the Transylvanian Carpathian Association`s Covasna County branch, has been working as a national tour guide for almost 20 years. In the first place his suggestion for the tourists who come to visit Covasna County is to explore the area on foot, on horseback, by bike or by cart because this way they will be able to reach hidden places and have experiences, that will make their time spent here unforgettable. At the same time, his advice is to spend more days in this area, because there are a lot of sights to see, so you cannot explore all the places in just one day, to bundle all into one small backpack, so to say.

The most fascinating and important attractions to see, according to András, are the ruins of the fortresses. Of course, we might think that they are not as spectacular as the castles, for example, but with an experienced tour guide we can find out a lot of new and interesting information about them.

’’If you come to visit Covasna County you have to get out of the car and walk, not only to gaze through the window of the car. You will get a bit dusty and you will have to walk a bit as well, but it is well worth it.’’ -concluded the tour guide.
