PulzArt - Contemporary Arts Festival

About

The pulzArt Contemporary Arts Festival was launched in 2013 with a purpose to present such art forms, currents and styles – through the outstanding representatives of contemporary art – which represent a novel way of thinking. On each edition over the past four years, the program of the festival was built around a well-defined theme, and this year it focuses on community participation. Instead of a passive viewer attitude, it emphasizes the importance of active participation and wishes to strengthen the social impact of cultural events. Its aim is that we try to better address community problems. Furthermore, we would like this year’s festival to become a space for community creation and a scene of community experiences, a place where we dare to participate freely.

The Kónya Ádám House of Culture aims to be a place where all people who are passionate about cultural events can meet. It is a place where individual and common initiatives can be resolved. For us, it is essential that we support new ideas and initiatives from amateurs. Through our community and cultural programmes we wish to help people get closer to their roots and help them get acquainted with our folklore and tradition. We wish to support tolerance and diversity. Everybody is welcome to our events.
